Alberto Cilia was
born on December 12th, 1969 in
New York (USA). He moved to Ragusa
at the age of nine.
 He
obtained a diploma in applied
arts at the Art Institute of Comiso
and then he attended the Academy
Of Fine Arts in Catania, getting
a diploma in 1992 with a thesis
whose title was "Problems
of Conservation and Restoration
of the Architecture in Noto".
Later he taught drawing and painting
in an independent school in Ragusa
and collaborated with architects,
in the field of the furnishing
and in that of the restoration.
